| The 21CFR module requires at least one user to remember the master administrator password to activate the security software. If the master administrator password is forgotten, the following procedure should be followed. The system will NOT remember the user detail after this procedure has been completed. |
Resetting the password can achieved by this process:
- Copy D:\VB\Application\part 11.cfg, where D is the CD drive, to C:\Solution11\part 11.cfg.
- Replace old file (maybe backup up old one before hand)
- Start Overlord, default username "paa", password "2fernhill".
- Message "password has expired" appears. enter new password. at least 7 characters including numbers.
- Resetting the password will lose current user information, but the audit trail remains. note that audit trail may appear inconsistent as it may show that the same user has been added twice (once after reset), which is normally not possible.
