DNA Normalisation
The UK and Dutch Forensic Science Services are using Overlord2, with one socket, to transfer DNA dilution profiles to a Qiagen liquid handler from their LIMS. The Qiagen liquid handler performs the dilutions and Overlord2 creates a data file which is transferred back to the LIMS.

With the addition of a couple of extra Overlord sockets the normalization process can include automated sample transfer to a plate reader and subsequent sample normalisation based upon the DNA concentrations.
