Where you require full protection. safecel is a rigid extruded aluminum structure, polycarbonate screening, emergency stops and interlocks, a Trespar bench with underbench capacity for personal computers, controllers etc. safecel is available in the following convenient standard sizes 1.2 X 1.2, 1.5 X 1.5, and 1.8 X 1.8m.

The automate.it safecel L™ offers complete protection with a light curtain surrounding the workcell. Break the light curtain and the robot stops. Quicker and safer than reaching for the e-stop. The light curtain arrangement provides full access to the system when the robot is not working.

This enables instruments (for example a plate reader) to be connected to a workcell in a true plug and play manner. The instrument may be wheeled away from the work cell for standalone use, or docking at another workcell and then brought back, locked into place and ready for immediate use without reteaching the robot.
