Fill-It from The Automation Partnership (TAP), is a new product
for rapid dispensing cell suspensions and other liquids into screw-cap
vials, and includes automation for removing and replacing the vial caps.
Coupled with Overlord2 and the paa SCARA robot this provides a cost
effective fully automated solution for filling capped vials.
Fill-It enables
the rapid creation of high quality, consistent stock vials for centralized
cell line libraries, screening operations or GMP production cell banks and
can be used with both mammalian and microbial cell suspensions. The
integrated SCARA robot allows loading of vial racks for a high throughput
fully automated system and the integration of additional instruments to the
system from the extensive range of over 350 Overlord2 drivers. Overlord2 software
provides a simple control interface that can interact with any database for
work listing and sample audit.
