Affordable flexible plate replication with the automate.it LHS 384
The automate.it LHS range of liquid handlers provides a cost effective solution for plate replication, row / column transfer, serial dilution and reagent addition. The wide volume range, the ability to easily change heads and to select rows, columns and quadrants of tips make the LHS the most flexible bench top pipetting station available.

 

  • The automate.it LHS 384 can be configured with 384, 96, 24, 18, 12 or 8-channel heads
  • It’s a simple operation to change heads; hit the software key to unlock the head, slide the head out, replace with the new head and hit the software key to lock in position
  • Heads are available for needles or disposable tips (to avoid carry over). Needles may be washed with a deck mounted ultrasonic wash station.
  • Volume ranges from 0.5ul to 250ul per channel
  • Range of deck sizes available
  • Easy to add on board devices such as shakers, heating/cooling blocks, tip wash station etc
  • User friendly software - intuitive drag and drop interface to define both deck and method
  • The software enables row, columns or 'quadrants' of the tips to be individually selected to facilitate serial dilutions, selections of controls/samples etc

The automate.it LHS 384 is ideal as a standalone bench top instrument with a small footprint. The open deck design enables easy access to load consumables from all four sides. However for more demanding applications it is fully integrates with Overlord2 scheduling software and wide range of robots.

automate.it LHS 384-E 

The LHS 384-E is a fully enclosed version of the LHS 384 which can incorporate either a ducted extraction system or a recirculating HEPA filter. This allows the pipetting to take place in a controlled environment without the need for an expensive and space-consuming hood. This is an ideal solution for sensitive work such as PCR setup, assay preparation where contamination must be avoided or for work with hazardous materials.
