Scan the barcode on the rack or plate
and place it on the storstar
tray.
2.
storstar withdraws the tray into the
instrument.
3.
Take the first sample tube, scan
its bar code and insert it into the rack via the aperture in the
top of the instrument. storstar automatically
presents the correct rack position, beneath the aperture.
4.
Continue until all the samples
have been loaded.
5.
storstar produces a data file mapping
the tubes to their position in the rack.
6.
There is full error checking
throughout this entire process.
