SonicMan is a high throughput multi-probe sonication instrument
developed by MatriCal, configurable with 96, 384, and 1536-well formats.
SonicMan uses disposable pin lids to transfer sonic energy to each
individual well and to prevent well-to-well cross contamination.
- AUTOMATION FRIENDLY -
plates or tube racks are placed on a retractable shuttle making it
fully automation friendly.
- HIGH THROUGHPUT - the
SonicMan can shear 384 DNA samples to 250 bp in hours
- EXCELLENT
DISTRIBUTION - the random fragments generated are suitable for
the sequencing of large genomes (see picture)
- LOW CONSUMABLE COSTS -
bringing the cost per sample down for your laboratory, with no
specialised reagents required.
