Introduction Introduction
 

The automate.it BX1000 Series of Dry Boxes are designed to provide a dry, moisture-reduced environment using a re-circulating system that removes moisture from the environment to achieve a set humidity level.

The BX1000 is free-standing, requiring only power from your standard outlet, and does not require external sources of air.

This system is suitable for large manual applications and small automated workcells.

Atmosphere

  • Nitrogen, Argon and Air inlets
  • Provides oxygen- and moisture-free environment for handling
  • Ante-chamber provided to transfer and pre-prep
  • Provides oxygen- and moisture-free environment for handling compounds
  • Environment is sealed and contained; exhaust is plumbed into designated facility duct system
  • Atmosphere inside the chamber is continuously filtered using activated carbon filters
  • Exhausting gas can be scrubbed before exiting the system
  • Able to achieve dryness < 20% RH
  • Less <2% Oxygen atmosphere
  • Constant flow rate

Construction

  • Work-surface is granite: flat, consistent, inert, and stable (enabling sensitive measurements)
  • Acrylic and plastic materials and components inside the chamber are highly resistive to compounds
  • Steel base is mounted on lockable casters for mobility
  • Access doors can be ordered either front or side, with single-action latch
  • Ergonomic design
  • Pass-thru for electrical and signal cables

Control

  • Works with standard 120V/240V power outlet
  • Incorporates both electronic safety (relief switch) and static safety (relief bubbler) systems
  • pH sensor for liquid scrubbing
  • pressure & vacuum sensors

Options

  • Optional glove ports allow products inside to be handled
  • Optional Ionization Module
  • Optional Accelerated Thawing Module
  • Available in custom colors, width, and depths
