Introduction |

The automate.it BX500 Series of Dry Boxes are designed to provide a dry, moisture-reduced environment using a re-circulating system that removes moisture from the environment to achieve a set humidity level.
The BX500 is free-standing, requiring only power from your standard outlet, and does not require external sources of air.
This system is suitable for manual applications. |

The enclosures shown below can accommodate single or multiple operators, depending on your process. Custom dimensions are available upon request. Optional ante-chambers are available (with separate environment control), allowing you to dramatically reduce cycle-times and operating costs. |

Glove Boxes are also available pre-configured for weighing operation. They provide dry, oxygen-free and ionized atmosphere ideal for weighing powders. They can be ordered with weighing scale, scanner, PC and tracking software (optional).

Atmosphere
- Provides oxygen- and moisture-free environment for handling
- Ante-chamber can be provided to transfer and pre-prep
- Provides oxygen- and moisture-free environment for handling compounds
- Environment is sealed and contained; exhaust is plumbed into designated facility duct system
- Atmosphere inside the chamber is continuously filtered using activated carbon filters
- Exhausting gas can be scrubbed before exiting the system
- Able to achieve dryness < 1% RH
Construction
- Work-surface is granite: flat, consistent, inert, and stable (enabling sensitive measurements)
- Work-surface is vibration isolated
- Acrylic and plastic materials and components inside the chamber are highly resistive to compounds
- Glove Box is free-standing, and has adjustable-height legs to facilitate sitting and standing operations
- Steel base is height-adjustable for ergonomics,
mounted on lockable casters for mobility
- Access doors can be ordered either front or side, with
single-action latch
- Pass-thru for electrical and signal cables
Control
- All controls and pneumatics are mounted in the base, with enclosures (standard 19” rack mount)
- Works with standard 120V power outlet
- Incorporates both electronic safety (relief switch) and static safety (relief bubbler) systems
Options
- Optional glove ports allow products inside to be handled
- Optional Ionization Module
- Optional Accelerated Thawing Module
- Available in custom colors, width, and depths
