The advanced version offers mechanical locking of the removable table. Repositioning of the table and relocking will allow the robot to access the instrument positions without reteaching. All power and signal cables are reattached after the mechanical lock is completed witch an unobtrusive connector.

During normal operation, the removable cart is held in place by an air controlled switth. Operation of this simple switch to the "access position" allows the cart to be removed from the workcell. |
