In addition to all of these features of the standard LHS-384, this model features an integrated enclosure. This allows the pipetting to take place in a controlled environment without the need for an expensive and space-consuming hood. This is an ideal solution for sensitive work such as PCR set-up, assay preparation where dust or other contaminants must be avoided, or work with hazardous solution.
The LHS-384-E model includes the LHS-384 and an enclosure with exhaust attachment for a ducted installation. The LHS-384-EH model includes the LHS-384 and enclosure with recirculating HEPA filter system.
The automate.it LHS-384 offers simultaneous 384 channel high performance pipetting. The microprocessor-controlled pipetting mechanism provides accurate and precise pipetting of microlitre or sub-microlitre volumes of samples into 96, 384 or 1536-well microplates. 384 channel heads are used for full-plate pipetting to and from 384 and 1536-well microplates.
