Manually capping tubes is tedious and time consuming procedure. The automate.it cap-smart is a new way to seal 96-format tube racks and microtiter plates. The instrument is semi-automated and uses a choice of electric or pneumatic drives to seal tube racks from any manufacturer.

The automate.it cap-smart means you never have to manually apply adhesive tape seals, or cap mats to plates, blocks or tubes again. Designed to work with any pre-cut adhesive tape, cap mat and Matrix mats, the automate.it cap-smart allows you to seal entire blocks for storage or tubes with individual seals for liquid handling and single tube accessibility.

Simply place a capmat onto the plate or tube rack and place in drawer, close the drawer and press the start button. When the sequence is complete the drawer is opened and the sealed rack can be removed.
