When the FSS required a device to ensure that swap samples (buccal scrape samples) were placed in the correct wells of a deep well microplate, they asked paa to help.

The problem is really straight forward, all that as needed was an XY robot with accurate position control. paa designed a suitable system with one of our design partners.

The automate.it WELLstar was designed, manufactured, installed and used successfully until replaced with version 2, the dual loading automate.it TUBEstar.

Syngenta were worried about a robot entering the workspace of their Beckman FX with 96 pin head.

paa were commissioned to produce a linear slide that could pass the microplates from the robot into the Beckman FX work area for use. The automate.it x-link was designed, manufactured, installed and used successfully.
