Real Time Alert of Impending Process Problems GranuMet Detect™ is a non-invasive window into your process. It responds in real time and will alert you of impending process problems. This technology will substantially reduce the risk of process upset and improve processing efficiency.
Many processes generate acoustic emission activity. Acoustic emission signals are high frequency sound emitted by physical and chemical processes. Even in the noisiest of industrial environments, processes can be monitored using high frequency contact sensors, which are immune to extraneous noise. |

In contrast to other non-invasive techniques such as nucleonics, acoustic emission responds to dynamic events making it suitable for process control.
It is very sensitive allowing many apparently silent processes to be monitored effectively.
High temperature intrinsically safe sensors (Tamb = 190º C) are NOW available. Contact Ron Belchamber for details.
